வானவன்காண் வானவர்க்கு மேலா னான்காண்
    வடமொழியுந் தென்றமிழும் மறைகள் நான்கும்
ஆனவன்காண் ஆனைந்தும் ஆடி னான்காண்
    ஐயன்காண் கையிலனல் ஏந்தி யாடும்
கானவன்காண் கானவனுக் கருள்செய் தான்காண்
    கருதுவார் இதயத்துக் கமலத் தூறும்
தேனவன்காண் சென்றடையாச் செல்வன் றான்காண்
    சிவனவன்காண் சிவபுரத் தெஞ்செல்வன் தானே

சிவபுரத்து எம் செல்வன் ஆம் சிவபெருமான், வானிடத்து உறைபவனும், தேவர்களுக்கு மேலானவனும், வட மொழியும் இனிய தமிழ் மொழியும் மறைகள் நான்கும் ஆனவனும், ஆன்ஐந்தாம் பஞ்சகவ்வியத்தில் ஆடினவனும், கானவனாகிய கண்ணப்பனுக்கு அருள் செய்தவனும், தன்னைக் கருதுவார் இதயத் திடத்து, தாமரை மலரிடத்து ஊறும் தேன் போன்றவனும், முன்பு இல்லாது, பின்பு காரணத்தாற் சென்றடையும் பெற்றியதன்றி இயல்பாகவே உள்ள செல்வனும் ஆவான்.
