Translation:

nallaru in the beautiful chest the god in the most exalted place, the chief who has a white bull of greenish eyes and who has as a half a lady with breasts wearing ornaments, and giving immense pleasure.
has a dress of a skin tied in the chest.
is the place desired by our Lord who has tied a cobra on the dress of a loin-cloth.

Civan wears a women`s ear-ring in one ear has a dress of a skin has a fighting bull which has greatness that does not become extinct.
has a lady also on one half.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who has this world surrounded by the seven seas, in addition to the upper worlds which are piled one above the other.

Having bathed profusely in the holy white ash which is prepared from the cow according to rules.
the pious people pay obeisance to, and praise, the feet of Civan who placed a lady of choice ornaments on one side as she is in the relation of wife to him.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who revealed the four vētams and who holds in his hand a young deer, battle-axe whose edge is white because of sharpness, and a trident.

Pouring the shining water on the long caṭai which can hold everything, and wearing by its side a garland of konṟai of increasing fragrance in addition to the crescent. nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who can grant the refuge of his golden feet for those devotees who are capable of increasing in numbers.

desiring the bull as a vehicle and a flag.
bearing a dancing cobra on the head which supports a river and a beautiful crescent.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who bears the fragrance of the rows of konṟai garlands worn on the chest where sacred thread is resting and holy ash is smeared.

the god on whose crown of head the crescent is shining.
the celestials who do not wink pay obeisance saying our Lord who stays on the crowns of our heads!
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord to whom his devotees bow their heads and say he is our Lord who stays on our heads.

holding a fire which is hot and brilliant.
the muḻavu to resound as the thunder in the cloud.
in addition to desiring dancing and singing in the place which all fear, having gone there.
having adorned the red caṭai with a crescent.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who placed in his shining neck the poison.

destroying having burnt the brilliant three forts with an arrow having in its tip fire, fixed in the bow of a mountain.
wearing on the head which has a plate of gold a crescent as white as milk.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who dances.

having consumed the poison which could not be consumed by any other person and immediately subdued it by stationing it in the neck.
nallaru is the place of our Lord who cannot be approached by the two (Māl and Piraman) to be bashful though they were determined to find the head and feet, thinking the form of hot fire of which was unbearable eminent and brilliant, as the result of the Karmam for which no reason could be attributed.

(people of this world!) do not follow that path of the low people without character, camaṇar, whose bodies are dirty, and tēvar who hold a begging bowl, believing their teaching as truth.
wearing konṟai flowers on which swarming bees hum noisily.
nallaru is the place desired by our Lord who destroyed the three forts simultaneously.

nānacampantan of Kali where good people of friendly nature are on the increase.
those who are able to recite all the ten verses in praise of nallaru with good nature of Civan having caṭai hanging down who has on it cool water and white crescent.
will dwell in heaven along with the celestials as the Karmam destined to be enjoyed in this birth are removed.

Wealth is classified under 16 heads

Lord of the temple is praised in the Thevaram hymns of Saint Tirugnana Sambandar.  This is the 18th Shiva temple on the northern banks of Cauvery.

Sri Kadaimudi Nathar temple, Shivan Koil Street, Keelayur-609 304, Nagapattinam district.

Adhi Murthy of the temple Lord Kiluvai Nathar is under Kiluvai tree in the prakara.  There is also a Nandhi before Him.  Lord Subramania with His consorts Vaiili and Deivanai is in a shrine in the prakara.  Sri Vinayaka of the temple is worshipped as Lord Kadaimudi Vinayaka.

The temple is facing west.  Cauvery flows westward.  As Lord Shiva protects the world even during the Maha Pralaya time-the uprising of the rivers and oceans destroying the world, He is praised as Kadai Mudi Nathar – Lord rescuing beings even on the ending day, according to sthala puranas.  Shiva Linga has 16 stripes known as Shotasa Linga.  Wealth is classified under 16 heads, hence it is believed that those worshipping Kadaimudi Nathar will achieve all the wealth.

The Navagrahas in the prakara are on a hexagonal avudayar seat facing right side.  The planets are not in a regular line.  They are looking front and back to each other.   Lord Dakshinamurthy has a ring only in one ear.  The other is plain.  Lord Bhairava too has a ring only in one ear.
Mother Abhirami is all merciful.  Her shrine is facing south with an entrance.  Woman awaiting marriage use to tie Mangalstra to Her for early wedding.  When marriage proposals conclude happily, they take back the mangalsutra, tie it on their neck, worship Her and leave it then again with Mother.  Their belief is that doing so would ensure the longevity of their mangalsutras till the end of their life.

Due to his pride, Lord Brahmma incurred the curse of Lord Shiva.  For relief, he performed Shiva Puja in many places including this place.  Lord Shiva granted darshan to Brahmma under this Kiluvai tree.  When Brahmma sought pardon and relief, Lord told him that the relief would come to Brahmma at an appropriate time.   As requested by Brahma, Lord Shiva stayed in this place.  Sage Kanva also worshipped Shiva in this place and attained salvation.

(People of this world) If you ask me.
the God who is in the form of wealth.
who is the embodiment of aṟam.
who is the nectar who is the eldest one.
and who is the youngest boy the pearless god whom the people of this world praise.
who is in the minds of people who meditate on him.
in addition to that.
he is the fertile city of Kaṭaimuṭi.

the place of the god who wears a tiger`s skin in the waist and has a holy head on which the waves of Kaṅkai dash against the matted hair, and crescent that is rejoicing.
is the city of fertile Kaṭaimuṭi where the water in the clear tanks from which waves with foam dash against the banks.

the god who besmears himself with the beautiful and white holy ash, has cobras, Kaṅkai along with the rejoicing crescent.
to worship joining hands (holding defectless flowers fit for worship the fertile city of the god whose feet are spreading fragrance, is Kaṭaimuṭi

the brahmin among the tēvar who has a neck made beautiful by the poison, who wears a garland made of beautiful and fragrant koṉṟai flowers just plucked from the tree.
Kaṭaimuṭi is the place of the god who adorns on his hands with a deer, a battle axe and a hooded cobra which moves by crawling.

He is the vētam which is in the form of sound;
is the material world;
is the wonderful thing.
one who wears the crescent.
has water on his head.
he is the fire too.
the fertile city of the god who has a black neck and who is praised by the people of the world as one who dwells inside and outside all living beings, in Kaṭaimuṭi.

having kept on one half a lady who wears many bangles on her hand and has a waist resembling the snake with a hood.
the father city of the God who bears on his head the crescent that rises in the west, in Kaṭaimuṭi

the place of the God who wears on his feet golden anklets, and a sacred thread of three strands on his chest besmeared with the holy ash.
is the fertile city of Kaṭaimuṭi, where the water in the cool tanks and the flowers that grow in creepers are respectively guarded and fragrant

Having made the arakkaṉ to suffer pain who almost met with death, as his eyes were destroyed.
as soon as he said, your feet are my refuge the fertile city which is desired by the god who granted his grace out of love is Kaṭaimuṭi.

the two persons who could not find the feet and head, and, approaching him, praised, Bestow your grace.
the place of the able person who placed the water on his matted hair is Kaṭaimuṭi.
Kāviri is near that place.

Bathing in the water often and plucking the hairs on the head are deceptive acts.
When we think about them they are not things which give happiness.
the fertile city of the Lord who has a frontal eye and has Umai of bright forehead on one half, is Koṭaimuṭi.

the verses sung by Nyāṉacampantaṉ who knew well the feet of Civaṉ in Kaṭaimuṭi to whom fame cames seeking him, and is on the Kaviri in which particles of gold are shining and the water dashes against the banks.
if one recites these sweet Tamil he will enjoy happiness.

Thousand name of Siva praise by lotus eye Thirumal

Manikandeeswarar
In his Thevaram hymn 5.60, Saint Tirunavukkarasar questions the wisdom of those speaking loudly vain philosophy and dynasty pride without knowing that Lord Shiva in Tirumalpur holds the bowl of inexhaustible blessings which would pour on them within seconds of prayers.   This is the 11th Shiva temple in Thondaimandalam region praised in the hymns of Gnanasambandar and Tirunavukkarasar. Thirumaarperu Thirumurai 1.55, 1.114, 4.108, 5.59,5.60 and 6.80

The presiding deity-Moola Linga is made of sand by Mother Parvathi on the banks of Virudaseera River. To avoid dissolution of the sand Linga during abishek, it is covered by a copper pot. Lord Vishnu as Senthamarai Kanna Perumal is near Lord Shiva in a worshipping form. Adhikara Nandhi is in standing form before Lord. Though a Shiva temple, as Lord Vishnu worshipped here, Garuda Seva is celebrated during the Brahmmotsavam festival.

Lord Vishnu applied His discuss on Sage Thatheesi for a king named Kuban.  When the discus touched the divine body of the sage, it lost is sharpness.  Worried Lord Vishnu consulted with Devas and came to know that Lord Shiva has the Sudharsana discus which he created to destroy demon Chalandarasura.  Lord Vishnu came to this place and worshipped Lord Shiva with thousand flowers a day.  To test the determination of Vishnu, Lord Shiva caused shortage of one flower.  To make up the shortage, Lord Vishnu immediately plucked his eye and offered it in the puja.  Pleased with his determination, Lord Shiva restored His eye saying that “as you offered your eye for a lotus flower, you will have the eye with lotus beauty and you will be known as Padmashan.  Lord Shiva also gave His discus to Vishnu.  Lord Shiva further added that those who chanted his 1000 names or a few of them (தீண்டச்சிவந்தார், சாதரூபர், மணிகண்டர், தயாநிதியார், பவளமலையார், வாட்டந்தவிர்த்தார், சாகிசனர்) chanted by Lord Vishnu would be blessed with salvation.  Lord Vishnu prayed to Lord Shiva that the benefit of praying in many temples should be granted to the devotees who pray here.  Lord Shiva assured the boon to Lord Vishnu

Civaṉ consumed the poison that rose springing in the ocean.
has a holy body in where there are Umai and sacred ash.
is the Lord who has a neck like the unequalled sapphire, and who is in māṟpēṟu in the south, which has fields full of mire.

Civaṉ who has māṟpēṟu which does not know destruction and in which water increases in the small sluices!
meditating on you.
your devotees will reach you both in the day and the night, bringing with them garlands made of big flowers thinking you as their deity.

the father who remains in māṟpēṟu, consuming the black poison, without any danger to life!
your devotees.
will bow and pay homage to you praising Civaṉ who caused a cobra with hood to dance, by his hands.

Civaṉ with a black neck in māṟpēṟu where Māl worshipped you!
(That Māl worshipped Civaṉ in this shrine is mentioned in the tēvāram of this shrine (3) tirukkuṟuntokai, verses no.
1,2 and 3) campaṉtar of this shrine verse 11) those of superior rank worship you with love thinking you to be their refuge, with much flowers holding them in their hands.

Civaṉ who has Umai on one half.
the celestial praise only you saying God who smears sacred ash in shining tirumāṟpēṟu, a gem that has no equal (a gem which is invaluable), so that they may rise in status;

the King in māṟpēṟu on the southern bank of the river pāli which is full of waves there are no people who do not speak about your nature inseparable from you; there are no people who do not praise you in the second person all the days.

destroying the fame of the arakkaṉ who was the ruler of (ilaṅkai) as he became reduced, in strength.
sins will be destroyed if one praises in the second person the god in māṟpēṟu who granted boons in an abundant measure to him.

civan could not be known even by one of those two gods who wandered searching for him, even now.
the acts of those who praise in the second person the god in māṟpēṟu wearing long and fitting kaḻal, will vanish being scattered.

Do not accept as truth the words of those two low people namely the buddhists who wander covering their bodies with a cloth and the amaṇar who eat their food using their hands as vessels.
(People of this world) praise as the Lord of the universe who is in māṟpēṟu which has increasing brilliance, uttering his names in a high pitch of voice,

on the god in māṟpēṟu which is eternal and where Māl and the moon-god did service staying there for a long time.
the acts good and bad, will be scattered and destroyed if one sings the words of Ñāṉacampantaṉ of Kāḻi which remained without destruction even during the time of deluge.

Rahu is Foreign Element

Use 'foreign element' for rahu. Please don't forget that there is no such thing as a 'good' or 'bad' planet. Where rahu is in your chart, in that area of life you will find a strong dominance of foreign elements. For instance rahu in 7, the 7th house indicate marriages and partnerships. You can immediately say it's foreign partner.

Rahu in 9th house
The person concerned is more attached to the 'exploration' of his journey than to strictly adhere to the definite suggestions of a single guide. All rahu 9 cases will explore beyond the mainstream religious practices of their families. The ninth house represents religion, philosophy, pilgrimages and Guru relationships.

Religion conversion happen to those with Rahu / Ketu in 9

Making a successful career change using astrology

Using astrology can save a lot of anguish for people about to enter the job market or anyone seriously considering their most suitable profession to spend their lives in. Apparently a good career is the mark of a successful person. It displays a position of pride, implies affluence, and an enviable circle of high-rolling friends. This of course, can also be an illusion.

The area in the horoscope to analyze for 'career' is the 10th house. However, this house does not just show the typical job, but more, implies one's greatest pre-occupation. It reveals the subject's visionary targets. It is possible that the subject's 'hobby' may be found in the 10th house (where typically, a hobby is determined in the 5th house) more so than his daily job if he spends most of his awareness, greatest interest, and after-office motivations on the advancement of his hobby. It is easy for the astrologer to determine that his 'hobby' can become a major vocation than just a casual pre-occupation.

The 'stronger' the 10th house in the horoscope, the more visionary the subject is. The weaker the 10th house in the horoscope, the more he will float along with whatever comes his way. Where the former promises a character creating his own path, hacking his way to build his palatial abode in the new territory, the latter shows a character that will follow a well trodden, conventional path where he knows that out of a million huts, there is one waiting for his purchase and immediate occupation. A strong but positive Saturn against the backdrop of a weak 5th house would suggest that the subject is better off serving an employer.

For entrepreneurship, it is crucial to analyze not just the 10th house for his visionary aptitude, but the good astrologer should also analyze the 5th house since it is a clear indicator for business acumen. The stronger it is, the better his business acumen, and the more likely he is to get into entrepreneurship and become a business owner. But the 6th house should also be considered as it indicates his ability to serve society and how he is likely to contend with his adversaries, competition, authorities, the law, and probably even enemies. Then the 8th shows the privileges that await him. The more auspicious that house, the easier for him to receive kindness and support from others. If business sense is a strong presence in the horoscope, then the 7th house too is crucial as it relates to business partner issues, and sometimes even customer relations.

Most important of all, his personal profit and loss must be weighed from his 2nd and 11th houses together against the challenges of his 6th and 12th houses. If the former is judged to be 'stronger', then his likelihood for profits is better. If the latter is stronger, then his entrepreneurship is unlikely to reap expected rewards.

all the acts, good and bad, will become weak if one worships beautiful Māṟpēṟu of Civaṉ who granted a weapon to the black Māl, when he worshipped Civaṉ with flowers and brilliant water which flowed in the river.

Civaṉ who expounded religions instruction by his beautiful posture in the extensive shade of the banyan tree, to four sages.
there will be no sufferings to those who worship in the proper way māṟpēṟu of Civaṉ who granted his grace in an abundant measure to Māl who is without faults.

with the idea of getting a brilliant discus which has the nature of cutting the enemies.
there will be no sins to those who have the nature of saying homage to māṟpēṟu of Civaṉ who granted a discus to Māl who has the colour of the sapphire and who worshipped scattering beautiful and colourful flowers at the feet of Civaṉ.

Wealth Building Using Astrology - Personal Investment Fundamentals

Wealth Building Using Astrology - Personal Investment Fundamentals
by Dr Ashutosh Agnihotri

Investors continue to search for superior models to help them make better choices in the investments and speculations. Yet the models that are available are too general and do not account for personal levels of success that differentiate them from others. This article gives an overview how astrology can make that difference and how it can be used for investment success for a long time to come.

To follow the usual analysis of market trends is no personal advantage because the majority of players in that same arena will be using similar fundamentals and pushing onto the same path of action. The investor will be making the same mistake of following others. Also, those fundamentals analyzed can even be manipulated to achieve certain positions in the charts.

Astrology operates at many levels; the individual as well as the collective. But where investments are concerned, the most personal application must be considered. Where astrology can be used to measure cosmic variables that will display collective trends such as national level events that in turn impact on economic up's and down's, it can also measure if such a trend will in turn impact on an individual citizen.

A fundamental working principle to consider here is what I call a Rule of Convergence. If the collective aggregate displays a certain uptrend, and the individual's horoscope does not possess the variables that share towards making that aggregate, then he is not on-track with that convergence. Whatever is the nature of that convergence, will exclude him. Therefore, if he does not possess similar variables that make for a sudden economic rise for the nation, then no matter his context, he will be removed from it, and he will not experience the windfall that others expect to. Likewise, if he does not possess similar variables that make for a sudden natural disaster, then no matter the size of the typhoon, he will be removed from it, and he will not experience the disaster others will.

Central to this analysis is the personal horoscope. Knowing the trends building up in the national horoscope is just one part of it. How the individual will be expected by that national event is the other part where the he must be responsible for personally if he really wishes to know how national level events will affect him.

The houses particularly significant in 'giving' to the individual will be found in the following houses:

2 - what money he can get and via what channel
4 - not always, but also shows the areas he may easily perform well in or with
5 - the main channels crucial for his investments
8 - another channel where he will receive easier returns
11 - gains and profits

The planets present in these houses will show the kinds of companies representing what kinds of industries, products or services that will be of investment benefit to the individual.

A special feature of note here is not to use the signs the cusp of the houses fall in, but rather, give weights to the elements of the planets found in those houses. For instance, the more the harder planets dominate, such as sun, mars, saturn, uranus, then you can surmise that the investment should relate to a company that deals with hardware, products, and even the harder industries such as construction, products for construction industry, etc. However, the stronger a planet is, the stronger its properties become in the measurement. And the more planets are softer in those houses, it indicates an affinity with the softer side of things; a service-oriented company, a company dealing with management services, human resource development, people networking, education, etc.
Then we have the slow and fast planets. Planets like moon, venus, mercury are 'early'. If they dominate in those houses, then the kind of returns that will give better personal returns to the individual will be those investments that bring quick returns. Slow planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and the saturnine planets all make one more attuned to slow-returns kind of investments.

The good astrologer should guide his clients when to buy and sell as well. After determining when the above planets will be triggered and mapping it for the client, complete with progressions and transits factored in, here is the basic rule as to when to buy into that opportunity: buy in at a time before the peak of the trigger of your wealth-building planet. Try never to miss this opportunity especially when it is at its lowest value. Then, sell at the precise time when such planets trigger off at the peak. Don't hold on longer than this because you can expect that selling post-trigger cannot be more gratifying for you personally than when you do so at its peak.

With your astrological timing scheduled beforehand, all you need is to wait for those moments in the market that coincide with your astrological rise and fall to take appropriate action.

Anaaya Nayanar

Anaaya Nayanar Puranam

In the flute thus wrought, he played the Panchakshara
Of the Lord in tuneful melody married to
The harmony of the seven notes of music;
Entia animate and inanimate were ineluctably
Riveted to his nectarean flow of music,
Meltingly merciful and all-absorbing;
Thus, even thus, he flourished.

In the flute thus wrought, he played the Panchakshara
Of the Lord in tuneful melody married to
The harmony of the seven notes of music;
Entia animate and inanimate were ineluctably
Riveted to his nectarean flow of music,
Meltingly merciful and all-absorbing;
Thus, even thus, he flourished.

Anayar who came thither cast his eyes straight
On the konrai tree whose clustered flowers looked like
Fragrant garlands woven of hand; the sweet bunches
Of blooms swayed in the wind; it was like the Lord
With His flowing matted hair; his mind melted;
With his chinta oned with the Lord, he unbarred
The flood gates of his love.

He examined the centers of music, beginning with
The Mudra; his fingers played on the seven holds
Carved into the flute in accordance with works
On music, gradually; he found it properly tuned;
He played duly from shadja to nishada
In arohana and avarohana.

The inner message of the fluten music, played
On the beauteous holes, by the great patron, was truly
The Panckakshara; the melody gushed and spread
Everywhere and poured full into the ears, as in the mouths,
Of all living beings, pure ambrosia mixed with
The honey of the celestial karpaka blooms. (954)

Herds of kine that had grazed on aruku grass
Would not chew their cuds; they came near unto him
And stood, oblivious of all else; the calves that were
Sucking milk from their mothers’ udders, would no more
Suck; they but stood still with their milk-frothy mouths;
Herds of strong-horned bulls, antelopes and other beasts
Of forest, stood thrilled, with hair erect on their bodies. (955)

  Dancing peacocks ceased their dance and came
Near unto him; they stood still, enthralled;
As the wafting melody streamed through the ears
And filled their bosoms, the feathered race
Flew to him and stood lost in rapturous music;
The strong neatherds who were working nearby
Abandoned their chores and stood in mute wonder.

As the teasers and the teased shared alike the harmony
The white-fanged adder, bewitched by music
Fell on the peacock; the tireless lion and the tusker huge
Moved together; the fawn with grass in mouth
Passed by the open-mouthed tiger. (959)

Wind would not move, branches would not sway;
Cascades from dark hill would not fall down;
Jungle rivers would neither gurgle nor flow;
Heavens would not rumble and the seven seas stood still. (960)

Numerous are the asanas
With Padmasana to commence;
Eight among them are rated high

Especially Svastika
He who postures on these asanas
Verily becomes Master,
for sure.
Sit Cross-legged with soles of feet upturned
Close draw the feet on thighs opposite,
Stretch then the hands afore on feet
That Padmasana is,
famed for on earth.

Place the right leg over the left
Stretch the hands over calf of leg
Sit in posture firm and erect
That indeed is Bhadrasana.

Lift the feet on to the thighs,
Control breath and on elbows raise your body,
Thus seated firm and immobile,
Thou do reach the Kukkudasana.

Stretch the hands over the calf of leg,
Lift the mouth upward,
Fix thy gaze on tip of nose,
Thus do thou Simhasana posture.

Bhadra, Gomukha,Padma, Simha, Sothira, Veera and Sukha
These seven along with eminent svastika
Constitute the eight,
Eighty and hundred, however,
Are asanas in all reckoned.
