வரந்திகழு மவுணர் மாநகர்மூன் றுடன்மாய்ந் தவியச்
சரந்துரந் தெரிசெய்த தாழ்சடைச் சங்கரன் மேயவிடம்
குருந்த மல்லிகை கோங்குமா தவிநல்ல குராமரவம்
திருந்துபைம் பொழிற்கச்சி யேகம்பஞ் சேர விடர்கெடுமே.

வரம்பெற்ற அவுணர்களின் பெருநகராக விளங்கிய முப்புரங்களும் ஒருசேர மாய்ந்து கெடுமாறு கணை எய்து எரித்தழித்த, தாழ்ந்து தொங்கும் சடைகளையுடைய சங்கரன் எழுந்தருளிய இடமாகிய, குருந்தம், மல்லிகை, கோங்கு, மாதவி, நல்ல குரா, கடம்ப மரம் ஆகியனவற்றால் சிறந்து விளங்கும் பசுமையான பொழில் சூழ்ந்த கச்சிமாநகரிலுள்ள திருஏகம்பத்தை அடைந்து தொழ, நம் இடர் கெடும்.
