வேற்றாகி விண்ணாகி நின்றாய் போற்றி
    மீளாமே ஆளென்னைக் கொண்டாய் போற்றி
ஊற்றாகி உள்ளே ஒளித்தாய் போற்றி
    ஓவாத சத்தத் தொலியே போற்றி
ஆற்றாகி அங்கே அமர்ந்தாய் போற்றி
    ஆறங்கம் நால்வேத மானாய் போற்றி
காற்றாகி யெங்குங் கலந்தாய் போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

பிச்சாடல் பேயோ டுகந்தாய் போற்றி
    பிறவி யறுக்கும் பிரானே போற்றி
வைச்சாடல் நன்று மகிழ்ந்தாய் போற்றி
    மருவியென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
பொய்ச்சார் புரமூன்று மெய்தாய் போற்றி
    போகாதென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
கச்சாக நாக மசைத்தாய் போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

மருவார் புரமூன்று மெய்தாய் போற்றி
    மருவியென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
உருவாகி யென்னைப் படைத்தாய் போற்றி
    உள்ளாவி வாங்கி யொளித்தாய் போற்றி
திருவாகி நின்ற திறமே போற்றி
    தேசம் பரவப் படுவாய் போற்றி
கருவாகி யோடும் முகிலே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

வானத்தார் போற்றும் மருந்தே போற்றி
    வந்தென்றன் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
ஊனத்தை நீக்கும் உடலே போற்றி
    ஓங்கி அழலாய் நிமிர்ந்தாய் போற்றி
தேனத்தை வார்த்த தெளிவே போற்றி
    தேவர்க்குந் தேவனாய் நின்றாய் போற்றி
கானத்தீ யாட லுகந்தாய் போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

ஊராகி நின்ற உலகே போற்றி
    ஓங்கி அழலாய் நிமிர்ந்தாய் போற்றி
பேராகி யெங்கும் பரந்தாய் போற்றி
    பெயராதென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
நீராவி யான நிழலே போற்றி
    நேர்வா ரொருவரையு மில்லாய் போற்றி
காராகி நின்ற முகிலே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

சில்லுருவாய்ச் சென்று திரண்டாய் போற்றி
    தேவ ரறியாத தேவே போற்றி
புல்லுயிர்க்கும் பூட்சி புணர்த்தாய் போற்றி
    போகாதென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
பல்லுயிராய்ப் பார்தோறும் நின்றாய் போற்றி
    பற்றி யுலகை விடாதாய் போற்றி
கல்லுயிராய் நின்ற கனலே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

பண்ணின் இசையாகி நின்றாய் போற்றி
    பாவிப்பார் பாவம் அறுப்பாய் போற்றி
எண்ணும் எழுத்துஞ்சொல் லானாய் போற்றி
    என்சிந்தை நீங்கா இறைவா போற்றி
விண்ணும் நிலனுந்தீ யானாய் போற்றி
    மேலவர்க்கும் மேலாகி நின்றாய் போற்றி
கண்ணின் மணியாகி நின்றாய் போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

இமையா துயிரா திருந்தாய் போற்றி
    என்சிந்தை நீங்கா இறைவா போற்றி
உமைபாக மாகத் தணைத்தாய் போற்றி
    ஊழியே ழான வொருவா போற்றி
அமையா வருநஞ்ச மார்ந்தாய் போற்றி
    ஆதி புராணனாய் நின்றாய் போற்றி
கமையாகி நின்ற கனலே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

மூவாய் பிறவாய் இறவாய் போற்றி
    முன்னமே தோன்றி முளைத்தாய் போற்றி
தேவாதி தேவர்தொழுந் தேவே போற்றி
    சென்றேறி யெங்கும் பரந்தாய் போற்றி
ஆவா அடியேனுக் கெல்லாம் போற்றி
    அல்லல் நலிய அலந்தேன் போற்றி
காவாய் கனகத் திரளே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

நெடிய விசும்பொடு கண்ணே போற்றி
    நீள அகல முடையாய் போற்றி
அடியும் முடியு மிகலிப் போற்றி
    யங்கொன் றறியாமை நின்றாய் போற்றி
கொடியவன் கூற்றம் உதைத்தாய் போற்றி
    கோயிலா என் சிந்தை கொண்டாய் போற்றி
கடிய உருமொடு மின்னே போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

உண்ணா துறங்கா திருந்தாய் போற்றி
    ஓதாதே வேத முணர்ந்தாய் போற்றி
எண்ணா இலங்கைக்கோன் தன்னைப் போற்றி
    இறைவிரலால் வைத்துகந்த ஈசா போற்றி
பண்ணா ரிசையின்சொற் கேட்டாய் போற்றி
    பண்டேயென் சிந்தை புகுந்தாய் போற்றி
கண்ணா யுலகுக்கு நின்றாய் போற்றி
    கயிலை மலையானே போற்றி போற்றி.

O Siva! You are the five elements! You have me as your permanent slave. You hid yourself inside as the source of all joy. You are the eternal sound! You are the power in the five elements. You are the four vedas and the six angas. You pervade everywhere as the wind. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You dance with the ghosts. You destroy the cycle of births. It is your play that make the Jeevas take various births. You came and entered in my heart. You destroyed the three forts of the deceitful asuras. You never leave my heart. You wear a snake as your waist-belt. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You destroyed the three forts of the enemies. You came into my heart. You created me in this form. You took my soul and kept it away from going awry. You are eternal wealth. You are praised by the world. You are the rain cloud that sustains everything. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You are the nectar praised by the Devas. You came and entered my heart. You are the divine form that removes the blemishes/deficiencies. You rose as an infinite column of fire. You are the distilled honey. You are the Lord of all devas. You dance among the fires in the cremation grounds. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You are the world with many towns. You stood as an infinite column of fire. You pervade everywhere. You entered my heart and remain there permanently. You are the coolness of the pond. You are peerless. You are the rain cloud that sustains everything. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You are the several forms that becomes the one and only form. You are not knowable even to the devas. You bestowed life even to the grass. You entered my heart and remain there permanently. You are manifest as the many beings in various worlds. You never forsake the world. Your are the fire that manifests as life in the stone too. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! O Siva! You are the music in the melody. You destroy the sins of those who contemplate you. You are the numbers, letters, and words. You remain forever in my heart. You are the five elements. You are the lord of devas. You are very dear like the pupil of the eye. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You remain without blinking and breathing. You remain forever in my heart. You have pArvathi as one half of Your body. You remain through many cycles of creation and destruction of the universe. You ate the deadly poison. You are the primal and oldest one. You are the flame that bears/forgives everything. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You have no birth, aging, or death. You were there before anything. You are worshipped by all the devas. You pervade everywhere. You are everything to me. You are like a golden mountain. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! Karma is causing extreme distress to me. Please save me! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You hold everything including the vast space in you. You contain the length and breadth of everything. When Vishnu and Brahma had a dispute, you stood as an infinite column of fire whose top and bottom could not be seen by them. You kicked the strong, cruel Yama. You dwell in my heart making it your temple (abode). You are the fast lightning and thunder. O Lord of Kailasa mountain! Please save me! I praise you again and again..

O Siva! You neither eat nor sleep. You know the Vedas without learning them. When Ravana attempted to lift the Kailasa mountain without regard, You gently placed your toe and crushed him. You were pleased to hear Ravana play melodious music and praise you. You entered my heart a long time ago. You are the support/refuge for the entire world. O Lord of Kailasa mountain!
